We used a customised rounded font to soften the plate’s personality. Rounded lettering reads friendly and modern and the gentle curves play beautifully with the bubble-shaped outline. The custom font was designed to maintain legibility while delivering a relaxed, design-first aesthetic.
The plate is cut to a bubble-shaped contour that follows the edge of the font. This contouring transforms the plate from a simple rectangle into a piece of visual jewellery for your car. Because the shape hugs the letters, it accentuates the float effect and gives a bespoke, crafted appearance rather than a generic flat slab.
There is no border on this plate by design. Removing a border creates a lighter, cleaner presentation and lets the customised lettering and bubble contour speak for themselves. The absence of a border reduces visual clutter and enhances the floating illusion, making the plate feel more like a finished object than a label.
This plate is road legal. You might notice it does not show the usual printed BSAU and makers mark along the bottom. Our signature is to laser engrave that legal information into the substrate for a cleaner, uninterrupted face. The engraving is permanent and fully compliant, giving you a flawless finish that still meets regulations.
