Rear Plate — 3mm Acrylic Laser-Cut, 64mm Motorbike Size

For the rear we used a compact 3mm acrylic, laser-cut to the 64mm motorbike size so it works where space is limited. Despite its smaller footprint, the rear plate mirrors the front’s type style, so the registration reads as a cohesive set. The precision laser cut ensures sharp edges and exact character dimensions that remain legible from distance.

Shape & Pairing — Oblong Front, Motorbike Rear

The front plate is made in a white regular oblong profile for universal mounting and clear presence. The rear is a compact motorbike-sized square to suit tight rear mounting locations found on many taxis. The two-piece approach is deliberately practical: the front maintains the expected road-facing format while the rear stays compact where space demands it.

Border — None by Design

There is no border on either plate. The absence of a border reduces visual clutter and keeps the registration the focal point. For a taxi this means the essential information is front and centre, unobscured and professional-looking. The clean edge also minimises areas where dirt and grime can collect, helping fleet vehicles stay presentable with minimal maintenance.

Road Legal & Makers Mark

This set is road legal. You may notice there is no printed BSAU or makers mark on the sample face.
