Acrylic 5mm plates look stunning on my Defender

A really great look. Quick service and delivery. I had the first set 8ml and the wife had 5ml. Both look great.

Saw this bubble plate on the site, advertised as a legal plate. Did some research and decided ok looks right order plate with extra fitting sticker, even though did say it came with them.
Plate arrived as stated however there were fixing stickers or the extra stickers. That was not the biggest issue.
There was a sticker on the plate stating that you had to remove the film from the lettering but there was no sign of the makers name or the BS number on the plat that was visible.
An email was sent to Nom Plates stating that this was a legally required on the plate and was not there. Well after 5 day I had to send another email slightly stronger. I finally received a response apologising that the fixing stickers weren’t there and would be posted out. Plus an extension that the company name and BS number are laser etched into the plate under a couple of the letters.
On a lot closer inspection yes it is there. It would have been helpful if the sticker tells people to remove the film off the lettering also stated this fact too.
I’m not overly convinced that mr plod will be overly happy that its etched in as I can’t read it all as it appears some has been cut way in the manufacturing of the plate and we all know how picky Mr plod are. So not convinced this fantastic looking Plat will stay on the vehicle for long and a fine won’t be issued. Only time will tell.
All that said, the plate was well made and looks fantastic, but due to the legality’s of the plate and only the paid for fixings arriving in post along with slow email response only 3 stars.
